Tools Tuesday: Barruntando Yarn Bowls

This week we’re all about these incredibly cute new yarn bowls from Barruntando. Based in Avilés, Spain, a city with a rich ceramics tradition and practice, Barruntando Cerámica is the joint venture of several women from different areas of Spain who share a common interest in pottery. Working together, the women of Barrutando share a vision of ceramics that puts a whimsical twist on practical objects to make you smile. It’s worked on us.

Yarn bowls are one of the flagship products of Barruntando, and we adore the brightness of these bowls, and the charming character of each one. Traditional and rustic in design, these bowls are the perfect addition to your collection, and beautifully show of your yarn as you work. The women of Barruntando work primarily with white earthenware clay for it’s purity of color and strength. Each piece is hand painted and unique, with a food safe glaze to finish.
