Next week’s Stitching Survival Skills Wednesday will focus on the German twisted cast on. Drop by on Wednesday, May 24th from 6-6:45 for a free lesson!
It’s #MeMadeMay and we’re partnering with our friends at Stitch Sew Shop for a #MeMadeMay Event! Show off your handmade outfits at fibre space and Stitch Sew Shop tomorrow, Saturday, May 20th from 10am to 1pm. The first 100 participants will receive a free gift.
Stephen West is returning at the end of May. All sessions of his Marled Magic workshops on are sold out, but please give us a call to be placed on the wait list. He will also be having a book signing and trunk show on May 26th from 6-8pm where you can get it Westknits Bestknits Shawls book signed and see samples of his designs.
Ready to take your sock knitting to the next level? The Sock Knitting Workshop on Saturday, June 3rd from 1-5pm will teach both new sock knitters and experienced sock knitters alike a variety of techniques for both top down and toe up socks. You’ll also learn about a variety of different heels and how to substitute them into your favorite sock pattern. $75.
Want to make well-fitting garments but don’t want to invest in a dress form? The Duct Tape Dress Form Workshop on Saturday, June 24th from 1-4pm will help you not only get accurate measurements, but also make your very own duct tape dress form customized specifically to you. $70.

Treat yourself to a new skill this spring with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!
If you’re ready to try the fun world of knitted cables, check out the Introduction to Cabling – Cabled Scarf class on Monday, May 22nd. $40.
Learn to manage multiple colors at the same time in the Introduction to Colorwork – Hat class starting on Tuesday, May 23rd. You’ll learn stranded colorwork, how to read colorwork chart and how to make a cute pompom, all while creating your own geometric beanie. $65.
The First Hat – Ribbed Beanie class is a great second course after completing the Intro to Knitting Course and gives you a versatile hat that can be styled a variety of ways. This class begins on Monday, May 24th. $65.
