Welcome to Tools Tuesday! Each week we’ll be highlighting one of the great tools we offer and recommend. This week: Lazada Blocking Wires.

These blocking wires are durable and flexible, suitable for bending to fit the shape of your finished garment, whether a smooth straight edge, circular, or scalloped edges. Their elasticity means you can have the shape you want, and the wire will still come back to a straight wire. Lazadas wires have a medium diameter, and are suitable for projects ranging from lace up to chunky weights.

We stock three Lazadas sets: long, short, and deluxe. The Long Set is great for shawls and blanket projects. Short wire sets are perfect for smaller projects like sweaters, small shawls, and pieces.

Our Deluxe Set combines the Long and Short sets; with this set you have plenty of wires to block multiple projects at once, or handle a large blanket without running out of wires or pins to keep the shape.
