Bring a loved one to space to get them hooked on the knitting craft! Join us this Sunday, October 9^th from 3-5pm for Stitch It Forward to benefit Project Knitwell. Our instructors will show your friend the knitting basics while you both enjoy refreshments and a 20% off shopping spree. You’ll also receive a great gift from the shop for attending. The registration fee of $60 covers both your ticket and your soon-to-be-knitting friend’s and all registration fees go directly to Project Knitwell.

The entire Arranmore Trunk Show by Kelbourne Woolens will be in space through October 10^th! Swing by the shop to see these lovely garments and accessories knit out of the beautiful Arranmore yarn, all inspired by traditional Irish knitwear and the rugged landscape of Ireland.

Classes

Treat yourself to a new skill this fall with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!

Up your lace game in the Intermediate Lace Shawl – Mayuri class beginning on Monday, October 10^th. You’ll create your own beautiful crescent shaped lace shawl with the shawl’s designer Dee O’Keefe. $65.

Learn the basics of Fair Isle in the Fair Isle Cowl – Pine Bough class beginning on Wednesday, October 12^th. You’ll also learn other great techniques and skills including provisional cast ons, the Kitchener stitch and chart reading. $80.

Intimidated by intarsia? Fear not! The Intarsia Crash Course on Saturday, October 15^th will get you all the basics while you make a cute two color zippered pouch that’s perfect for storing notions or needles. $40.

Do you have some well-loved handknits in need of mending but no idea where to start? The Darn Those Knits class on Saturday, October 15^th is just your ticket to breathing new life into those beloved items! $50.

Learn how to knit sweaters in the Top Down Raglan Pullover class beginning on Tuesday, October 18^th. You’ll make a stylish and cozy sweater, all while learning now to read sweater patterns, utilize basic raglan sweater construction and knit in the round. $80.

Ready to advance your sweater knitting skills? The Open Study Sweater – Short Row Set In Sleeve class with shop owner Danielle allows you to choose your own short row set in sleeve sweater pattern and get all the help needed to make it just right. Class begins on Saturday, October 22^nd. $80.

Move beyond rectangles in the Short Row Beginner Shawl class starting on Sunday, October 23^rd. You’ll learn the basics of short rows and modular knitting while creating a fun one skein shawl. $65.

The Entrelac Scarf – Purling Backwards course is a great intro to the technique of purling backwards (sure to speed up your knitting) all while learning the unique art of entrelac. This course begins on Sunday, October 23^rd and you have the option of knitting a scarf or wrap. $65.
