Mark your calendars for the 7th annual Alexandria Sidewalk Sale happening on August 13th and 14th throughout Old Town and Del Ray. Over 50 boutiques will have deeply discounted summer items that are sure to be a steal! The sale will begin here in space today, Friday, August 12th and go through the weekend. We have sale yarns from Ella Rae, Crave Yarns, Sweet Georgia, Habu Textiles, Marisol, Lux Adorna and others, as well as discounts of up to 50% off! We’ll also have a very exciting $2 table.
Join us on Satuday, August 27th for the Ross Farms Pop Up Shop. Ross Farms is located outside Pittsburgh and features amazing wool from a variety of rare breeds of sheep. Most of their natural yarns even have the name and picture of the animal that provided the wool! You can’t get much more direct than that! Learn all about these unique animals from the shepherds who care for them, all while discovering some really beautiful yarns.
We are so excited to announce a special screening of the Yarn! movie on September 15th at the AMC Hoffman in Alexandria. Tickets are $10 and the movie will only be shown if we sell 100 tickets by September 8th. We’ll have a pre-movie gathering at the shop before we all meet at the theatre for a fun night of stitching!
