Periwinkle Sheep returns to space

I am so excited to be able to stock Periwinkle Sheep again! Founded and lovingly dyed by Karin Maag-Tanchak, the Periwinkle Sheep focuses on creating beautiful colors that any stitcher would love to work with.   A knitter since the age of eight, Karin began dyeing in her own kitchen in 2008.  Karin began selling her yarns at fiber festivals, before allowing a small group of yarn shops in New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Washington state to sell her yarns. No longer dyeing in her kitchen, Karin established her studio in a rehabbed factory building where she still dyes each skein herself and in small batches.

Today’s delivery is both Watercolors and Wink! Both yarns are fingering weight, which wwill lend itself to lots of accessory projects or even socks. Here are the details:

Watercolors

75% Merino and 25% Nylon sock yarn with a tight twist that makes it super strong for socks but it’s amazing colors make it perfect for any dreamy accessories.  With 460 yards in each one $26 skein.

Here’s a great pick for a sock pattern for this yarn – Couplet by Bonnie Sennott.
