With the promise of warmer weather coming and the arrival of Neighborhood Fiber Co.’s Maisonette lace, we pick Ann Weaver’s Weathered Pullover as our latest project feature. Knit out of laceweight yarn, this lightweight top is perfect for those warmer months ahead.
Ann designed this top with summer in mind, but just as the other items in her wardrobe, she envisions it wearing well into the cooler months as a layering piece. Additionally, other than some final grafting at the end, the entire top is seamless!
Ann offers the option of a mesh panel, which can be worn in the front or the back depending on your mood. While we love the mesh knit out of textural Stainless Steel and Silk from Habu, you can easily omit the mesh and knit the entire top in Maisonette. Another option Ann includes is using the upper mesh panel as an opportunity to colorblock. Whether you create the mesh or not, use that area as an opportunity to switch colors to keep your top right on trend. Ultimately this top gives you maximum flexibility, so you can customize it to your exact specifications.

Regardless of size, you only need one cone of the Habu for the fun mesh panel. The amount of Required Maisonette yardage varies depending on size and desire to colorblock, but the top requires 920 (1030, 1180, 1310, 1460, 1620) yards total.
Style It!
We love the casual and unique look of this top. Throw it over your favorite tank or camisole and pair with your favorite medium wash denim jeans or capris for a quick buzz around town. Pair it with a coordinating loose, flowy cotton skirt on those hot July afternoons.
