Events
Olga Buraya-Kefelian will be offering the Swiss Cross Fair Isle Cowl workshop beginning on April 21st. This chunky cowl is a great introduction to Fair Isle knitting, all while creating a stylish and warm accessory. Just a few spots left!
Mark your calendars for the Hazel Knits Pop Up Shop running from May 4th-8th. You’ll be able to purchase one of a kind colorways and the popular big wheels. You’ll also have a chance to meet Wendee, the dyer genius behind Hazel Knits as well!
Susan B. Anderson is indeed coming to space in May! She will be offering the Build a Toy workshop on May 19th, Exploring Shawl Shapes workshop and Top-Down Seamless Dolls workshop on May 20th, and the Design You Own Fair Isle Mitts workshop and Egg to Owl workshop on May 21st. Exploring Shawl Shapes, Top-Down Seamless Dolls and Fair Isle Mitts are currently sold out, but please give us a call to be placed on the wait list.
Classes
Treat yourself to a new skill this spring with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!
Try knitting lace in a cute knit hat in the Lace Hat class starting on April 18th. You’ll learn how to read lace charts in the round, do crown decreases and even add another cast on to your repertoire. $65.
Ready to try your first sweater? The Seamless Bottom Up Cardi (Adult or Child) class starts on April 19th. You’ll learn the basics of sweater construction, how to read a schematic and how to read a lace chart. $80.
Dive into your next crochet project in the Choose Your Own Crochet Adventure course starting on April 23rd. Choose from a hat, cowl or blanket to grow your crochet skills while creating a beautiful and functional item. $65.
The Entrelac Scarf – Purling Backwards course is a great intro to the technique of purling backwards (sure to speed up your knitting) all while learning the unique art of entrelac. This course begins on April 25th and you have the option of knitting a scarf or wrap. $65.
Move beyond scarves and other flat projects with the Beanie Hat class on April 26th. This is a great second class option that will get you well on your way to your first hat. $50.
