The 2016 Metro Yarn Crawl will run from April 1st-10th and features 10 area shops (10 days, 10 shops!). Purchase a MYC tote for $15 and enjoy 20% at all participating stores. Check out this post for the full list of shops and more information.

The Brooklyn Tweed Winter 16 design collection is in space for the next week! Swing by to see and try on these beautiful items. We have the patterns available and all required yarns as well.
Ann Weaver will be offering a workshop on Sunday, April 3rd for her fabulously fun Albers Cowl workshop. This cowl is a great chance to use up scraps and play with color! This workshop is always a favorite and there are just a few spots left!
Sivia Harding is coming to space is April and will be offering a variety of fabulous workshops! Beaded Button Bracelets and Short Row Stripes workshops are scheduled for April 8th and the Lace and Beads Workshop , Put a Bead On It Workshop and I-Cord Knitted Jewelry Workshop are on April 9th. Spaces are filling quickly, so be sure to sign up soon.
Mark your calendars for the Hazel Knits Pop Up Shop running from May 4th-8th. You’ll be able to purchase unique kits, one of a kind colorways and the popular big wheels. You’ll also have a chance to meet Wendee, the dyer genius behind Hazel Knits as well!
Susan B. Anderson is indeed coming to space in May! She will be offering the Build a Toy workshop on May 19th, Exploring Shawl Shapes workshop and Top-Down Seamless Dolls workshop on May 20th, and the Design You Own Fair Isle Mitts workshop and Egg to Owl workshop on May 21st. Exploring Shawl Shapes, Top-Down Seamless Dolls and Fair Isle Mitts are currently sold out, but please give us a call to be placed on the wait list.

Ready to jump into the fabulously fun world of brioche? Learn the basics in the Basic Brioche Hat class taught by our newest instructor, Barry. Class begins on April 5. $65.
Ready to leap into the fun world of socks? Check out Beginner Socks from the Top Down starting on April 6 to learn the basics of sock construction. $80.
Ready to try knitting in the round? Check out the Intro to Fingerless Mitts – Working in the Round class starting on April 7. You’ll learn the basics of knitting in the round on double pointed needles while creating a cool pair of fingerless mitts perfect for the transition into spring. $60.
Learn to make gloves that will not only keep your fingers warm but will also allow you to still use your electronic devices in the Connectivity Gloves class beginning on April 10. $80.
If you have ever wanted to learn how to make your own yarn, drop spindling is a great way to get started! Drop Spinning 101 begins on April 10 and will get you on your way to making your own extra special yarn. $65.
Are you an experienced lace knitter who wants to try designing your own projects? Designer Dee O’Keefe will walk you through the entire process in her Lace Stole Design class starting on April 12. $80.
If you’re ready to expand your crochet skill set, check out the Lace Wrap in Crochet class beginning on April 13. This class will teach you how to do lace crochet and read lace crochet charts, all while creating a beautiful wrap. $80.
Do you want to learn or improve on your Continental knitting technique? The Continental Knitting course in the Technique Series on April 16 will help you master this style of knitting. $30.
