Friday Stitch at the Movies will be happening on February 19th! We will be watching a movie featuring Channing Tatum while munching on popcorn from our neighbors Olio. Be sure to not miss the fun!

Sivia Harding is coming to space is April and will be offering a variety of fabulous workshops! Beaded Button Bracelets and Short Row Stripes Workshops are scheduled for April 8th and the Lace and Beads Workshop is on April 9th. Please note that registration does not open until February 16th, but you can check out the offerings and your schedule now.

Ready to leap into the fun world of socks? Check out Beginner Socks from the Top Down starting on Monday, February 15th to learn the basics of sock construction. $80.

Inspired by the flora and fauna of the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains, the Culpeper shawl is a great intermediate lace project. Learn the techniques for this semi-circular shawl with a knitted on border from the designer herself in the Intermediate Lace Shawl – Culpeper class beginning on Monday, February 15th. $65.

Cables need not be limited to scarves or sweaters! Learn the fun technique of cabling and make hats for your entire family in the Cabled Owl Hat class. Class is on February 20th. $50.

Are you an English/”right handed” knitter who wants to learn how to speed up your knitting and become more efficient? Check out the Efficient English course in our Technique Series on February 20th to improve your technique without having to switch hands. $30.

Toe up socks are perfect for using up your entire skein. Learn this great technique by making a pair of thick worsted weight socks in the Beginner Socks from the Toe Up class starting on February 20th. $80.

If you’ve ever been captivated, yet intimidated, by lace shawls, check out the Introduction to Lace – Ashton class beginning on February 20th. Learn the basics of lace and triangular shawl construction while knitting the Ashton shawl using worsted weight yarn. $65.

If you have ever wanted to learn how to make your own yarn, drop spindling is a great way to get started! Drop Spinning 101 begins on February 21st and will get you on your way to making your own extra special yarn. $65.

Dee O’Keefe’s Lilyanna Shawl is a gorgeous mix of cables and lace that begins with a sideways border. Check out the Intermediate Lace Shawl – Lilyanna course beginning on February 21st to learn the techniques used in this unique construction shawl. $65.

Even as the weather transitions into spring, your hands need to stay covered. The Intro to Fingerless Mitts class starting on February 21 will get you knitting in the round while you learn the basics of fingerless mitt construction. $60.

Short rows need not be intimidating. The Aggregate Shawl course teaches you how to do short rows that give your knitting some dimension. Armed with two colors, be prepared to make a fun and modern shawl. Class begins on February 22nd. $65.
