Greeting from space! Here’s what’s been happening around the shop this week and upcoming classes and events.
In Case You Missed It – Other Arrivals
We’ve restocked numerous staples this week, including Manos Maxima, Stonehedge Shepherd’s Wool fingering, Superwash dk and worsted, Berroco Remix and Modern Cotton.
We’ve also restocked CocoKnits notions. Be sure to pick up these wonderful stitch markers before they are gone again!
Beautifully handcrafted, Strauch swifts are back in stock. These are the same swifts we have around the shop.
Upcoming Events
The Take Heart trunk show is in space until the end of January. Be sure to check out these simply beautiful items and pick up the brand new book.
Franklin Habit is coming to space! He will be here at the beginning of March and will be offering a variety of fabulous workshops. Shadow knitting, and the Sunday session of Knitted Plaid still have opens slots, while Designing Knitted Tessellations, the Cavalcade of Color and Saturday session of Knitted Plaid workshops are sold out. We do have wait lists available for all filled classes, so call as soon as possible to be placed high on those lists. Be sure to grab a space while you can with this fabulous designer and teacher since remaining spots are filling very quickly!
Olga Buraya-Kefelian will be offering two new workshops in the coming months! The Super Bulky Sweater workshop in February features a brand new design knit out of super bulky yarn. She’s also offering a Brioche or Tuch Stitch Hat workshop in March featuring her new pattern Nobi-Nobi (you may have seen Danielle wearing this beautiful hat around the shop too!). Please note that a ravelry ID is required for both of these classes so you can receive the pattern.

Treat yourself to a new skill this winter with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!
Do you knit socks but are looking to avoid SSS (second sock syndrome)? Two at a Time Socks starting on January 12 is the class for you! Learn to knit two socks at once, so that when you’re done, you have a finished pair. $80.
Have you taken Dee O’Keefe’s Lace Stole Design course and want to delve deeper into the world of lace design? The Triangular Lace Shawl Design class starting January 18th is perfect for learning all the tips and techniques for creating your very own beautiful lace creation. $80.
The First Hat – Ribbed Beanie class is our favorite second course after completing the Intro to Knitting Course. This class begins January 21st and gives you the option of a beanie or slouch hat. $65.
Do you want to learn or improve on your Continental knitting technique? The Continental Knitting course in the Technique Series will help you master this style of knitting. $30.
