Just Landed! – New to Space

We just received Freia Worsted and Fingering in a fully array of beautiful colors. Additionally, we received a huge restock of Super Bulky and got some new spring colors as well.
A huge shipment of Neighborhood Fiber Co. Studio Sock, as well as some of the Winter 2016 limited edition colorways, has arrived. Grab them while you can!
We have another shipment of natural colored luxury faux fur pompoms perfect for topping off your hats!
Take Heart books are back in stock and the trunk show is back out to see.
Upcoming Events
The Take Heart trunk show is in space until mid-February. Be sure to check out these simply beautiful items and pick up the brand new book.
Franklin Habit is coming to space! He will be here at the beginning of March and will be offering a variety of fabulous workshops. Shadow knitting, and the Sunday session of Knitted Plaid still have one spot each left, while Designing Knitted Tessellations, the Cavalcade of Color and Saturday session of Knitted Plaid workshops are sold out. We do have wait lists available for all filled classes, so call as soon as possible to be placed high on those lists. Be sure to grab a space while you can with this fabulous designer and teacher since remaining spots are filling very quickly!
Olga Buraya-Kefelian will be offering two new workshops in the coming months! The Super Bulky Sweater workshop in February features a brand new design knit out of super bulky yarn. She’s also offering a Brioche or Tuch Stitch Hat workshop in March featuring her new pattern Nobi-Nobi (you may have seen Danielle wearing this beautiful hat around the shop too!). Please note that a ravelry ID is required for both of these classes so you can receive the pattern.

Treat yourself to a new skill this winter with our Introduction to Knitting or Introduction to Crochet classes!
Have you taken Dee O’Keefe’s Lace Stole Design course and want to delve deeper into the world of lace design? The Triangular Lace Shawl Design class starting January 18th is perfect for learning all the tips and techniques for creating your very own beautiful lace creation. $80.
The First Hat – Ribbed Beanie class is our favorite second course after completing the Intro to Knitting Course. This class begins January 21st and gives you the option of a beanie or slouch hat. $65.
Do you want to learn or improve on your Continental knitting technique? The Continental Knitting course in the Technique Series will help you master this style of knitting. $30.
The Crocheted Handwarmers class beginning on January 24th is a great class for you second crochet project. These mitts are sure to work up quickly and are perfect for our roller coaster winter temps. $65.
If you’re ready to expand your lace knitting skills, check out the Intermediate Lace Shawl – Holbrook course starting on January 26th. You’ll learn how to read lace charts and do a knitted-on edging, all while creating an elegant shawl. $65.
The Entrelac Scarf – Purling Backwards course is a great intro to the technique of purling backwards (sure to speed up your knitting) all while learning the unique art of entrelac. This course begins on January 31st and you have the option of knitting a scarf or wrap. $65.
Short rows are not just for knitting! The Short Row Crochet: Ski Slope Hat course on January 31st will show you how to work short rows and ribbing in crochet, all white creating an adorable striped hat. $40.
Many patterns call for you to pick up stitches but exactly how does that work? The Picking Up Stitches course in the Technique Series will help demystify this common knitting technique. Class is on January 31st. $40.
We are now offering all private lesson sign-ups online! Once we fully transition over to this new system, you’ll be able to select your instructor and view all available time slots from the comfort of home. Just as with our regular classes, all lessons must be prepaid and carry the same 72 hour cancellation policy.
