Greetings from space! Here’s what’s been happening around the shop this week and upcoming classes and events.
Local designer Olga Buraya-Kefelian’s design talents are highlighted in the first collection of the new CAPSULE pattern series by Brooklyn Tweed. This beautifully printed book contains 8 garments and accessories, each with a truly unique design aesthetic. The Winter 2016 edition of Interweave Knits is now available. This magazine contains 18 beautiful patterns, including sweaters, mittens, socks and hats, which are all perfect for the upcoming winter months.
Beloved Churchmouse patterns are now available in crochet. These patterns and the Learn to Crochet Companion are well written for the novice crocheter but make terrific additions to the personal library of crocheters of all levels.
Furry pompoms are all the rage these days! We now have a full range of 100% acrylic pompoms in a range of natural and bright colors that are the perfect addition to any hat.

Fingerless mitts make a great addition to any winter wardrobe but is the process of making them a bit intimidating? Check out our Fingerless Lace Mitts class taught by Tanis starting on Monday, November 30th to learn how to knit small circumference mitts on double pointed needles while also learning the basics of lace knitting ($65).
Our Terra sweater knitalong has officially ended and hopefully you had as much fun as we did! This week Jillian talked about different needle options for different techniques for knitting sleeves. Even if you didn’t finish in time, keep working on your sweaters and be sure to share your finished objects whenever they are finished.
