Here are a few of our faves – each of these patterns features a technique you may not have tried before, so they’re a great opportunity to learn something new!

Local designer Olga Buraya-Kefelian uses “Shadow Wrap” technique short rows to create cleverly shaped shoulders and the scooped-hem A-line shape of her Koto pullover. Futuristic Audrey Hepburn! It’s knit in Shelter – you’ll need 9 to 12 skeins.

Kirsten Johnstone’s Element is knit with Loft on large needles to make a featherlight fabric. Learn to do German short rows while knitting up this cozy cowl neck pullover. (You’ll need 5 to 8 skeins.)
Feel like Goldilocks when trying to find the right size shawl? Anisos from Lily Go is designed in 5 sizes! The clever wrap-around shape keeps it from slipping off your shoulders and the ornate lace edging that starts from a picot cast-on would make for a gorgeous gift. The smallest size takes just 2 skeins of Loft!

A smocked stitch technique is used to create the textured lace in Irina Dimitrieva’s Loden shawl, knit in 3 skeins of Loft. This one requires a bit of concentration – are you ready for a knitting challenge?
