The first Hazel Knits mega trunk show is next week! The trunk show will be at the shop April 29 – May 3. It will feature a host of exclusive items including amazing color pairings in one of a kind project kits, giant yardage “big wheels” of several yarn bases and “babycakes” (mini skeins) perfect for color work and color block projects. The idea of big wheels in Lively DK or Cadence has some of the staff pondering sweater options for the fall. Snowflake anyone?
We’ll also be hosting a trunk show of custom bags from Holly Aiken from April 29 – May 3. So many reasons to stop by for exciting, exclusive offerings.
We’re also thrilled to be hosting workshops from Olga Buraya-Kefelian, Carson Demers, Kirsten Kapur, and Ann Weaver! Don’t miss grabbing a seat in the new session of Olga’s Brioche and Beyond! Due to popular demand, we added a second date: Saturday, May 9. Grab your spot today – here!
We will be hosting a series of workshops from Carson Demers in mid-May. Carson is a physical therapist, fiber enthusiast, designer and teacher. His passion and experience in fiber arts combine with his expertise in physical therapy and ergonomics to create a unique skill set that he eagerly shares with the fiber community at local yarn shops, guilds, and major knitting events across the country.
Come and learn how to knit without getting that crick in your neck. Carson will be here in mid-May teaching KnitRX (Friday, May 15, 6-9pm, $75), Ergonomics on the Go (Saturday, May 16, 10am-1pm), and Swatchbuckling (Saturday, May 16, 2-5pm). Seats are filling up, grab yours now!
Master designer Kirsten Kapur is joining us in early June for two shawl workshops and a book signing!
