As knitters and crocheters, I find that many of us are constantly searching for the perfect solutions to control our little crafting chaos. Whether it’s our mess of notions and needles or just trying to find a way to get our yarn to behave, these small irritations, for me at least, always build into major frustration. Luckily, we have all sorts of storage solutions for your every organizational need. Plus, each one works great for holiday gift ideas. It’s always hard to pick out things for the crafter with everything but any of these great storage options are sure to be a hit!
Needle Cases
I don’t know about you guys but I have a needle problem. Between the double points, circulars, and straights, there seems to be a never ending supply of needles and no way to keep them organized. Luckily, that’s about to change! We’ve got a wide variety of awesome needle cases to manage your needle mess.
Check out the cases by EweGirl, each with specific slots for all your needle sizes. Just $27 per case.

And just in are some seriously cute and very usefulcases from Chic-a. I’m loving their double point case! $43 each.

Or maybe get your circular needles under control with this one, $45 each:

If straight needles are more your thing, their straight needle case is $43 each and super cute!

I’ve always been a big fan of Della-Q cases but their Esquire line might be one of my favorites. Designed to be gender neutral with a fabric inspired by suits, what I really love about these cases is Della-Q’s labels for each needle size. It’s the perfect solution for any knitter obsessed with organization and everything having a proper place!

Yarn Keepers
Nothing makes me quite as happy as a well designed bag to keep my nicely wound yarn from exploding all over the place and I’m in love with all of Chic-a’s cute little yarn holders. With multiple bag options, there is sure to be something to fit your needs! Personally, I love the Chic-A Ort Keeper! This cute little case with a carabineer clip that lets you carry your yarn on the go and sells at $12.50 each.

If the Ort Keeper is too small for you, try one of the Quick Draw To-Go bags. At $25, this bag still has the cool carabineer clip for any knitter on the move and has extra height so you can fit a small project at the top when you are not actively knitting.

Just arrived are some of our shop favorites: Gagety project bags from Yarn Pop. These great little pouches will contain your yarn perfectly and have a little grommet for a yarn pull. Each bag costs $34 and comes in a variety of beautiful and fun colors.

Project Bags
Brand new to space are the super cute and handy project bags from Underground Chic. Available in two sizes, each bag features a large grommet to thread your yarn through and a handle so you can carry your yarn on the go. The medium bag, at $30.50 each is perfect for accessory knitting while the large bag, at $34, is perfect for bigger projects. I’m thinking the large bag is exactly what I need for all the sweater knitting I’ve been doing lately!

Yarn Pop’s newest bags are adorable clutches in two sizes. The smaller clutch costs $47 each and will fit any accessory project with enough room to add a couple notions or fit larger accessories like scarves and cowls.

If your projects tend to be on the bigger side, check out Yarn Pop’s large clutches, which even come with three grommets for yarn pulls (perfect for fair isle!) and a divider within the bag to keep your projects separate from your yarn. $54 each.

Pretty Cheep project bags give you the perfect bag to protect your WIPs and your yarn. Their lightweight canvas will keep from weighing you down while keeping your chaos contained.
