This week in space, we were treated to the arrival of a wonderful new yarn – Pepperberry Knits Cashmere. The sport weight is here in lovely bright colors, and fun bundles.
We’re excited to bring in beautiful button sets from Favour Valley Woodworking. These buttons would be a treat for any project.

Classes
We have all sorts of neat classes coming up after the 4th of July! Join us for some summer fun out of the sun (and in the AC!).
Have you always wanted to learn to crochet? Learn a new craft this summer, and join us for our Introduction to Crochet class starting on Monday, July 7th from 7 to 9 pm. In this three week session you’ll learn the stitches needed to complete a lovely blanket. (click here to register)
Want to improve your lace skills? Come join us for our Intermediate Lace Shawl course, and make the beautiful Holbrook shawl by Dee O’Keefe. This two week class, starting July 7th at 7 pm. is an awesome chance to learn a pattern from the designer herself! (click here to register).
If you’re looking for a fun sweater to knit for fall, starting on July 8th at 7pm, we’re offering a fantastic three week class for a Lace Sweater that you can make in either a baby, child, or adult size! Events and Such
Come out Wednesday nights at 6:30 and sit in on our free workshop each week! This week we taught people the long tail/short tail cast on. Join us in two weeks after the 4th of July holiday! On July 9th, we’ll be working on weaving in ends.
July 11th is our next Friday Night Knit at the Movies. We’re planning on watching Gremlins!

This week at the shop, with the arrival of Pepperberry Knits Cashmere our shop-wide obsession with sport weight yarn continues. Danielle and Nicole couldn’t help themselves and challenged each other to a cowl-off. Join in the fun and knit one of these amazing colorwork cowls!
