Featured yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool

We recently brought back Elsebeth Lavold Silky Wool. I have a great love for this yarn as both a sweater yarn and an accessory knit option. Ravelry and the ball band will list it as a DK weight, although it is light and can certainly work up at a sport gauge. Each skein is 192 yards of 45% Wool, 35% Silk and 20% Nylon (Polyamide) for durability.

It costs $10 per skein.

Silky Wool comes in great pops of color and also fabulous neutrals.

I have a few things lined up on my to do list with this yarn, the first being this easy peasy knit. The infinity scarves are HOT this year!

Color Block Infinity Scarf

Uses 6 skeins of Silky Wool, although you would have lots of extras. We are working up a version in just three skeins (three different colors) and it is looking pretty awesome.

Sideways Bias Triangle Scarf

Ok this thing is amazing. It would just feel so very very lovely around the neck! It uses 6 skeins of Silky Wool.

Something Silver

Thank you Veera for another gorgeous sweater design! This garment is designed in Silky Wool, features garter edging and lace details. It is a top down all in one piece! You will need 5-8 skeins depending on the size. While I have no time to start another sweater, this is seriously tempting. Perhaps a spring cardigan class??
