A hat quest

A hat quest

I have this bag of worsted weight yarn scraps. They are partial balls of worsted weight from Sweet Georgia, Miss Babs, Neighborhood Fiber Co and Astral Bath. I can’t seem to part with the bag because I love the colors and feel like I will want them someday. Tonight we left the house to walk to the market, and I pulled the same cotton hat down over my baby’s head. I realized that a good use for the bag of scrap yarn might be some new cute hats for Maddy. She really has been wearing the same couple of hats over and over again. And so my quest for good pattern options began…

Here is what I have narrowed it down to (these are all in worsted weight):

Maybe she needs one of each? I probably have enough yarn bits for every single one!
