Our latest delivery from Hazel Knits is Entice MCN – a base that you won’t spot anywhere else on this side of the country. It is just luscious, with a blend of merino, cashmere and nylon. $31 for 400 yards. What I love most about this yarn is how consistent the dye is.

So what do you do with a hand dye that is so even and consistent? You knit something with lots of stockinette stitch or cabling – where a consistent color would be most visible. I grabbed a few skeins for Boxy by Joji:

If stockinette stitch for 20 some inches in fingering isn’t your thing, I totally understand. I love the Bows and Arrows shawl (new to Ravelry) because it will also look lovely in a solidly dyed yarn.

Or have fun putting colors together for the Foolproof pattern.
