Thursday, April 18th:
Reversible Fair Isle Cowl w/ Tanis, 7-9pm; $65
This two-week class teaches fair isle techniques, kitchener stitch and fair isle chart-reading, as you work the instructor/designer’s own pattern: Rimrock Reversible Cowl. Rated “rockin'” – experience knitting in the round is required. (Photo courtesy TanisKnits.)
Saturday, April 20th:
Crochet Chevron Cowl w/ Nicole, 2-4 pm; $40
Learn basic crochet pattern reading, how to change yarn colors for striping, and tips and tricks for crochet chevrons with our latest free crochet blog pattern! Rated “funky” – Ability to chain stitch and double-crochet is required. One-session.
Sunday, April 21st:
Top Down Raglan Sweater w/ Sam, 4-6pm; $80
Your perfect “first sweater” class! Learn basic top-down sweater construction with this versatile piece that works up quickly in chunky-weight yarn. Ability to knit & purl, plus some experience increasing/decreasing or working in the round is required. Three 2 hour classes.
Advanced Lace Shawl w/ Tanis, 7-9pm; $80
This 3-week class teaches the Edwina Shawl, a delicate, top-down triangular lace shawl with traditional and Estonian stitch patterns that flow seamlessly from one to the next until ending in a geometric border that echoes the shapes created by the patterns of the shawl body. This class is rated “uberchic” – for knitters with several projects under their belts. Some lace experience is advised.
