Originally created in 1959, Alexandria Days was a collaboration between the City and Old Town merchants designed to encourage shopping in downtown Alexandria during the hot summer months. With the amazing Sidewalk Sale now a beloved tradition, we brought Alexandria Days back to life last fall as a new way to celebrate and explore Old Town.
Shoppers can grab a passport online or at a participating shop and explore Old Town merchants while collecting stamps, discovering gifts with purchase, and enjoying special in-store experiences at each stop.

We’re happy to wind your yarn on our ball winders behind the counter if you purchased it from us, or you can wind any of your own yarn on the provided winder and swift upstairs, and we would be happy to show you how to use them if you need assistance. If you order from our capsule collection, simply let us know in the notes that you would like your order wound before shipping. (Keep in mind that all yarn that is wound cannot be returned).
