Cephalopod Yarns is an intrepid new yarn endeavor that originally began as the Baltimore studio of The Sanguine Gryphon. When that company closed in late 2011, Cephalopod Yarns opened its doors with all of the original staff and a few new faces. fibre space™ is ecstatic to welcome their yarns into our local hand dyer family!

Here are their first additions to our shop:

Bugga! is a plump, sport weight blend of 70% Merino, 20% Cashmere, 10% Nylon in skeins of 380 yards. These gorgeous colors need to be shown off.  We love the fabric this yarn creates in a lacy tee like Stowe. 

Each skein is $32.

Traveller is our newest DK weight, durable but wonderfully soft in 100% Merino. Each 114 gram skein has an ample 280 yards,  just perfect for a pair of Toasty fingerless mitts  or a layering piece like Abbi Light.
