Do you have a black thumb? Well, how about trying your hand at knitting or crocheting some flowers instead! We are putting out a call for knitted or crocheted flowers that will be used in our window display. When the display changes in June, all of the flowers will be donated to Project Knitwell to adorn their donated baby hats and bring some cheer to families with babies in the NICU.

About Project Knitwell
Project Knitwell is a non-profit organization bringing the joy of knitting to persons facing difficult situations. Most Project Knitwell participants are patients and/or family members who have spent a considerable amount of time in a local hospital.
Their Mission: To bring the joy of knitting and its therapeutic benefits to persons facing stressful situations by providing expert instruction and quality materials. Through knitting, participants can obtain a myriad of wellness benefits, find comfort in becoming part of a larger knitting community, and gain a sense of satisfaction by completing hand-knit items for themselves and others.
