I am working away at the Lilas Cardigan, along with many other folks who started last week. If you didn’t jump in last week but want to participate, it is not too late! Our goal is to be done before Stitch n Pitch or by the end of May. I have knocked off my sleeves and am working away at the rest of the body. It is the boring section, so it has made great tv knitting. I also have a shawl on needles and the Olga vest, so really, nothing is getting done because I can’t seem to focus on one thing.
We have a sneak peak at the first shipment of the Bundles of Joy club to show you!
Kristen Rengren, the designer for our first month’s pattern, has sent along this photo:
We aren’t going to reveal which yarn this is, but I can tell you that the club will ship out with more than one color, so you may or may not get this color. Our first shipment is set to leave by May 25th, so there is still time to grab a spot in the club. The spots that don’t fill up, will be sold individually as kits for those who may just want one or two of the projects.
I was so excited about our other club’s shipment this month (Fibre Girl club – FULL), that I thought I would share it with everyone. The theme was “politics.” The package included two buttons (SSK and K2TOG) so that folks can display their political “slant” proudly, whether it be left or right. The yarn is the “political spectrum” colorway from Neighborhood Fiber Company in her new Studio Luxury Worsted. It is a range of colors from red to blue and everything in between. This colorway and yarn are not yet available to the general public but will be in the Fall. The yarn is a luxurious merino, cashmere, nylon blend. It’s lovely!
