Things I brought back with me from Nevis

Things I brought back with me from Nevis

First, a stomach bug. Yup, a lovely stomach thing plagues me still. At least it waited until the morning we left. We got married on Friday, so had it started earlier, that wouldn’t have been very nice. We got married on Friday because it rained on Thursday and when you don’t have caterers, guests and florists, you can change your wedding date whenever you want. Kinda cool.

Second, this picture:

sheep

These are sheep. Despite their “goat-like” appearance, they are sheep. They have no wool. I know, I know, it sounds insane, but I am serious. The warm climate keeps the sheep from producing wool. They have “hair” instead. I asked a few natives what in the world they could possibly be useful for, given their lack of wool. Most told me that they mostly run wild. Some said that they eat them. ick. I don’t think I want to eat adult sheep. Baby sheep, i like. Not adult sheep.

Third thing I brought back from Nevis: a husband. So far, he is exactly the same as the boyfriend that I took with me. I am not sure if he is supposed to be different, but so far, the same guy. Which is good 😉
