I know that I owe you all photos of Clue #2 and probably something else that I can’t even remember right now. I have some sort of ugly cold that has caused me to have nightmares all night about my teeth falling out like little kernels of corn. I think that it might be a sign of things to come. I will keep you posted on the status of my teeth. I am on a strict regimen of this crazy African root drug stuff that Whole Foods claims will cure anything. The last time that I got sick and took this stuff it caused insane nightmares (ah yes, perhaps THAT is the cause of the interesting dreams last night…) but when I got up the next morning, the cold was gone. This time, it persists… clearly a sign that my teeth may, in fact, fall out. But if I take this stuff every four hours all day, I might be better for our Knitalong tonight. If not, I will come anyway and sit far far back from the table and touch no one’s knitting.

Last night a good group of folks turned out for the first baby bootie class of the season. They made one adorable bootie each in just about two hours of class. It is a great project, worked flat and then seamed. Check out the giant needles that our favorite LYS sold this poor soul…an extra 15″ of needle more than she needed to make a baby bootie. I don’t think I have ever seen bamboo needles that long. Amazing! Use them for shish kabob perhaps?
