I was so inspired by all of your responses to what had first made you want to learn to knit. So many of you expressed a desire to make something with your own hands and be creative. Others were inspired by a family of knitters and wanted to follow in the foosteps of relatives. So many others wanted to pick up something crafty or find a new hobby. (what, surfing YouTube isn’t enough for you all?)

As for why we all continue to knit…one word appeared over and over again in the responses:
