My Lace Entrelac Wrap Came Home!

My Lace Entrelac Wrap Came Home!

I am so excited! After a year apart from this little gem, it was finally returned to me from the publisher. The pattern will be available in the upcoming Pints and Purls: Portable Projects for the Social Knitter. The wrap is worked in the Fibre Company’s Organik, in the Jungle colorway. They have so many new and exciting colors out in this fiber that I might knit another one. Knit Happens has almost all of the colors in stock RIGHT NOW! (Including Atoll, the colorway that I used for my Central Park Hoodie).

I should soon be announcing the retreat that will focus on this project. It will be a one day retreat that will focus on both the entrelac technique and lace!

In other news, the cookies are done! This was the scene just before we starting boxing them last night. We made around 36 gift boxes of cookies, 26 types, 8-10 dozen of each…figuring around 2800 cookies all in all. My house is finally back in order, no more sugar, crumbs, nuts on the floors and the smell of baking sugar is finally gone! (You can’t believe how bad that is after a week…)
