Second Fibre Co Sweater down…one more to go

Second Fibre Co Sweater down…one more to go

On Friday I finished my second Fibre Company sweater (of this year…I think I have one other one in the closet from last year. The first for this year was my Central Park Hoodie). This is the cabled high neck sweater, from Blue Sky Alpacas. I am excited that it can be worn with the collar buttoned up or open. It is so snuggly. This yarn is amazing. It is Road to China and is a baby alpaca, cashmere, camel, soya and yak fiber combination. (Insane, right?!) You should feel this sweater!

So on Saturday I started my third Fibre Co sweater, done in Terra. The color is beet and it is amazing. I think I am in love with this purple. I am knitting up the Sweater Babe sweater from this blog post and working on the class curriculum for this class in the winter session. I have the back, front left and half of the front right done already. This is what happens when I sit on my butt for two straight days. Apparently I can produce sweaters when left with nothing else to do. So I guess that stomach bug I had was good for something. My hands hurt, my back aches and I think I gained three pounds, but I have more than a third of a sweater finished in two days.
