Insuring my limbs

Insuring my limbs

During a private lesson yesterday, one of you mentioned that I might want to considering getting my hands or arm insured…since injury to them would prevent me from doing my work. I thought this was really funny until this morning I got an allergy shot (something that I do almost every week) and about an hour later, my left arm blew up. I have a giant red blog sticking out from my arm that is noticeable even through the dress that I am wearing. I went back to the allergist who said that I was having a “local reaction” and not to worry. They gave me steroids and something else that starts with a Z and then she asked me how my breathing was. I told her that my breathing was fine until I got to their office and the nurse made a horrified face after seeing my arm. That didn’t help my breathing at all.

So now I am thinking, should I get my arms and hand insured. Who does one call about this anyway? How silly does this seem…but really , what would I do if something happened to them?!
