Here is a bit of what you missed:
-I was inside the first entrance on 18th Street and we were BUSY! I really enjoyed meeting so many knitters that I had never met, seeing students and former students, and having so many friends stop by to support me. Thank you all for coming out!
-Two folks won the prize drawings from the weekend and both have been emailed: Sarah M. and Ariel A.
-Fiber folks had a decent showing. The vendor below (Knot Ugly Designs) sells crochet hats and other goodies. They are so cute!
This vendor sells handspun fibers and by the time I got to her booth, she had almost nothing left! I spotted this adorable hank though, with felted leaves spun right into the fiber:
-Our friend Woolarina, a local hand dyer, had an amazing showing of brightly colored gorgeous hand dyed yarn and fiber. You can buy her stuff here.
-There was lots of random awesomeness like the plushy below from Spooky Daddy:
I picked up hand made coasters from vintage fabric from the local artist, This Chickadee. She has aprons, table linens and all sorts of other wonderfulness. I managed to snatch the coasters just as she was packing up after staring at her booth all day from our booth across the aisle.
My night ended with a giant plate of pasta in Old Town and I am still recovering from being on my feet for over 12 hours. I don’t know how these crafty folks do it!
More tomorrow when I have fully recovered….
