Our Capsule webshop is closed January 30th in solidarity with the national shutdown and general strike in support of Minnesota, our country, and our communities.
Our Alexandria shop doors will be open for Stitch in Space from 10 AM – 5 PM so local folks can gather, connect, and support each other. Bring a project, stitch along, recharge, rage, and/or relax in the company of our crafting community.
Instead of shopping today, we encourage you to direct your dollars to providing mutual aid to Minnesotans. We recommend donating to the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota Immigrant Rapid Response Fund @womensfndnmn
We will be fully open on Saturday, January 31 with our normal hours and classes. After nearly a week of being closed or partially closed due to the ice storm, we will be delighted to welcome you back in-store and online for all your fibre shopping needs.

Checking in with a shop opening update! We will be open tomorrow 10am - 5pm, Stitch in Space will be cancelled. We have hired someone to clear the parking spaces around the shop so you have somewhere to park and our staff is being paid time and a half if they can get here safely to help us open up. Our team has been paid for the snow days to make sure they’re not also experiencing any financial hardship during the storm closures. If you’re out and about in the coming days I strongly encourage you to support your local small businesses, this storm has been really tough. Thank you all for your online orders and support while we get through the storm!
