Hi all!
I am back from the TNNA Trade show in Columbus, Ohio where I think it might have been hotter and more humid than Washington, DC. It was a great show! I traveled with Neighborhood Fiber Company‘s Karida Collins and her fabulous colors.
I had a great dinner with F&W Publications on Saturday, who will be publishing a new pattern book from Karida about knitting in bars, which will feature one of my designs…more news to come on that. Jessica from F&W was kind enough to invite my good college friend along for dinner as well. Stefanie Japel is also with F&W, and it was great to see her again. Her new book Glam Knits is scheduled to come out in October and the preview was spectacular! I can’t wait to get a hold of this book.
I am back on the desk this week, so if you are waiting for emails from me, they should be coming soon!
P.S. I was without electricity last week during First Thursday and could not make it to the event. With the high temperatures and loss of electricity for over 24 hours, we had to get our fridge on ice!
