Baby blanket giving me fits

Baby blanket giving me fits

I finally finished the pinwheel baby blanket that is a sample for an upcoming class at Knit Happens on June 17th. The pattern is a great project for folks wanting to work in the round and on double pointed needles…I even added a cute ruffle to the outer border. Its just becoming impossible to block into a flat circle. I think I missed a row at the center that is causing the rounds to be off and thus the outer part to ruffle, where it isn’t supposed to. I know I can block it flat but it requires use of my mattress or purchasing some foam for blocking. This has been on my list to buy anyway, so I suppose now is the time.  So right now it is just a baby “ruffle” and not really a blanket.
