So I have a serious problem. Admitting that you have a problem is the first step to recovery, right?
Where do I start? On Friday, I went to the big Knit Happens sale and I bought this:
Its the Kollage Yarns “Yummy” and it is quite yummy. With an 80% bamboo, 20% merino mix, its soft and drapey and I love it. I am going to use it to make the Stitch Diva Sahara, which I already have but really “need” in the long sleeve version. You can sign up to take this as a class with me in the spring session, starting Monday April 21st at Knit Happens. Its a four week class and is a great sweater class, right down to finishing, shortrows, shaping and lace. Call 703-836-0039 to register. I should probably be casting on for it soon, so that I can get through much of the sweater before the class, but there is so much to knit before then (like that entrelac wrap that I keep promising).
On Sunday, when I went back, I managed to get all this Ella Rae silk and bamboo. It wasn’t even on sale! I think I will make the Waist-cincher Top from Knitting Lingerie Style, which I picked up at TNNA from the publisher. Its an amazing book and there are some really great spring patterns in there.
I refuse to post the other yarn that I purchased, because I think Phil might read my blog from time to time and I am doing a very good job of keeping my stash hidden from him.
I should be posting the Spring class schedule soon, so stay tuned!
