A bit over a month ago, MSNBC came down from NY to our shop to film for the day. They wanted to feature our shop on their show Your Business. They took many many hours of footage and asked lots of really great questions. While we haven’t seen the final segment, I think the focus is on how we have succeeded despite not selling online, in a world of online retailers! I love that we are able to help our indie dyers and other companies boost their own online sales while offering super unique items in the shop to our local community and visitors. It is very exciting for MSNBC to choose us to feature This morning the segment was live!
I should say that one of the most exciting things about being on national TV is a need for hair, makeup and wardrobe. Even my staff got in on the action! We all started the day at Salon deZen where Maria’s amazing teach made our hair and makeup look amazing.
