At the shop, we recently welcomed a new indie magazine: Laine. This new magazine just landed, and each page is brimming with inspiration. This week we’re featuring one of our favorite new patterns with one of our favorite new yarns. Nordic Arrows is a sideways knit shawl that features both i-cord and brioche tuck in an expanding graphic design. This pattern is the perfect pairing for Periwinkle Sheep Delirium, allowing the wearer to wrap themselves in the luscious softness of merino and yak. The shawl features a graphic central design created by blending two colors surrounded by a bright border, giving endless opportunities for awesome color combinations.

This sweeping shawl will pair well with a wool coat, or over a favorite sweater as the weather (eventually) begins to warm. Indoors, it would work well with a cardigan or blazer and slacks or over your favorite knit dress and tights.
