You will receive four total shipments (five for those who add the optional sweater), beginning in March. Shipments will be available for store pick up on the 10th of each month, starting on March 10th. For those who have selected shipping, your package will be shipped on the 6th of each month, starting on March 6th.

Each shipment will contain a kit of multiple colors of a yarn from dyer Hazel Knits. You will be able to select the Rothko painting that you want to inspire your yarn package for several of the month’s shipments. The yarns are all solid or semi-solid and range in gauge from heavy lace weight to worsted weight. The yarns are primarily Merino and may contain nylon or other fibres. Each month includes 3-4 different colorways in a kit with sufficient yardage to complete that month’s pattern.

When registering, be sure to select the Rothko painting that you want to inspire your package for months three and four. Here are the inspirations!

Club workshops, online support and community

With your club membership you also get free club workshops! We will meet weekly on Wednesday evenings at 6 pm for free instruction to help you learn the skills for each pattern. Our first meet up will be March 11th at 6 pm. Our free instruction will end promptly at 7 pm, however members are encouraged to stick around in our lounge and knit a long together. By working along with your fellow fibre space™ knitters, you can set a monthly goal to complete the project from that month and encourage each other along the way.

If you don’t live nearby, no worries! We will meet up online in our forum on Ravelry for you to chat, ask questions and post progress photos. We will also post tips and advice for each project in that forum.
