DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics of crochet while making a pair of cute fingerless mitts with one of our amazing crochet instructors! \nThree 1.5-hour classes \nSkills needed\nAbsolutely none! Our beginner class is ideal for those who are completely new to the craft\, or who haven’t knitted in many years and need a full refresher. Students must be 16 and older to enroll. \nSkills learned\n\nWork a foundation chain\nChain stitch\nSingle crochet\nReading a crochet pattern\nTerms \nBasic fibre education\nHow to keep edges of rows straight\nHow to create three stitch patterns using only single crochet\n\nMaterials (all available at the shop for a 10% discount for your first class)\nFor each pair of mittens you make\, you will need 150 yards of light-colored worsted-weight yarn. We recommend Wooldreamers Mota or Kelbourne Woolens Germantown.
