Local Yarn Store Day

Local Yarn Store Day is a brick-and-mortar yarn shop appreciation day created by TNNA Yarn Group. The 2019 LYS Day will take place on April 27 and is designed to show support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft. Vendors and retailers alike are coming together to showcase the benefits of locally owned yarn stores through an array of special products, classes and more!

Here at fibre space, we know, love and value our amazing customer community. It is through your support and strength that we have been able to not only survive, but thrive as your LYS. To show our appreciation on LYS Day for YOU, our community, we will host an ice cream social in the #1319PrinceStreet Park in front of our shop. Join us in the park space for amazing fresh made ice cream from local Nicecream. Nicecream creates amazing ice cream by combining fresh local grass-fed cream and local ingredients from nearby farms. They then use liquid nitrogen to freeze the ice cream on the spot, creating the freshest handcrafted cup of ice cream you can get.
