SUMMARY:Fall Stitch Along: Back to Basics
DESCRIPTION:September means back to school\, back to work\, and for many of us\, back to picking up our stitching after a summer off! \nJoin us for our Fall “Back to Basics” stitch along as we ask ourselves important questions like “What patterns are in for Fall?” “Why is it still so hot out?” and even\, “Do I even remember how to do this?” \nWe’re jump-starting the Fall stitching season with simple knit or crochet projects to complete by October 15—choose your own pattern or read on for our recommendations! \nWhat’s a Stitch Along?\nA stitch along (SAL) is when a group of stitchers work on similar patterns or towards a shared purpose together–that’s it! (The fun is in cheering each other on\, sharing your projects\, and congratulating each other on your progress!) \nHow does it work?\nPick your pattern: See our suggestions to get started\, or choose your own! We’ll be officially stitching along through mid-October (but if you don’t finish by then\, no worries!). \nWhen you’re in\, you win! Get 100 loyalty points when you buy materials for the Stitch Along. Just let our yarnistas know when you check out\, or add a note to your online purchase!  \nWatch & learn: Keep an eye on our social media for helpful tips and video tutorials. \nShare & post: We’re going back to basics ourselves! We’ve got a Ravelry forum set up for our community. Here you can post updates\, offer fellow stitchers encouragement\, and ask for advice…not to mention show off your FOs! Joining Ravelry is free—and it’s a site that’s been run by actual humans since 2007. \nPrefer social media? We’re still there\, too! If you want us to see your posts\, be sure your profile is public\, and follow & tag us\, plus add the hashtags #fsbacktobasics26 and #fibrespaceFO for visibility. \nLocal meet-ups: Join us in person on Thursday nights for Stitch in Space or at our second Sunday Cosmic Craft Nite gathering for queer stitchers—craft and connect\, or get help with your project at our Help Desk! \nKnitting Pattern Picks\nKnockout Round\n© fibre space\n \nfibre space ™ owner Danielle is making her THIRD Knockout Round shawl for the stitch along\, using Wooldreamers 90 Varas and Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool.
