Author event: Hilary Latimer

November 13, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Event Category:

Join us for a book author event with Hilary Latimer, author and knitwear designer! She will bring copies of her newest book for you to purchase and have signed. This novel is a stand alone spin-off of Hilary’s  Knitting Game Mystery series.

About the book:

FBI Special Agent Fountain Rhodes doesn’t have much luck when it comes to women. Most of them seem to be more interested in his gun and badge than in him. Not that he believes in love at first sight, but he does believe in happily ever after. If he could only meet the right woman.

Movie star Molly Whittier doesn’t have much luck when it comes to men, not that she has a lot of opportunities to meet any. Not with her manager trying to set her up with her costar Martin Riley every time she turns around. As for Riley, he’s convinced they’d be perfect together, except for one little detail: she can’t stand him.

When Fountain and Molly meet by accident, it looks like their luck is about to change.

Meanwhile, in West Hollywood, Detective Avery Tolliver is starting to have a bad feeling about a series of murders he can’t solve. There’s something about them he can’t quite put his finger on. In desperation he turns to the FBI’s newly formed Special Investigations Unit for help.

Pulled into the hunt for a diabolically clever serial killer, will Molly and Fountain’s romance survive, or will a madman bring it crashing to its knees if Fountain can’t figure out the murderer’s twisted endgame in time?

About the author:

Hilary lives in North Carolina with her husband, who, sadly, does not want to talk about interesting ways to murder anyone. Her two grown sons, however, don’t mind indulging their mom. A well-known knitting designer, best known for her enormous ‘house cozy’ shawls and hilarious MKALs (which you can find on her Ravelry knitting group Criminal Knits), she got into writing knitting mysteries because she felt the genre needed a little spicing up with some really hot guys, their zany girlfriends and a good dose of all knitterly things from an insiders perspective.
