The Hazel Knits Pop Up Shop was last week, and we were lucky to have some goodies left in the shop! The Hazel Knits “big wheels” from this pop up shop are exciting for sweater makers because their size makes it easier to make larger items without weaving in so many tails or having to alternate so many skeins. This week, our featured project is made from the Hazel Knits Cadence Big Wheels. Lorna Suzanne by Ellen Mason is available on Ravelry and has adorable retro touches while being an incredibly versatile cardigan. Oh, and it’s a class that starts on Thursday, should you need some help making this adorable sweater! Read more and register here.

Style it:
I’m digging this as a year round sweater, so I am thinking a color that will work for all seasons. Our sample is in the lichen colorway which is bright for spring but still pairs well with dark denim for fall and winter.
For spring, the sweater, is a lovely layer piece worn open over a sleeveless dress, like this BCBG from our neighbors at Dutchess M, paired with Donald Pliner sandals from Bishop Boutique.
