We just got a brand new yarn in from Noro! (It’s new to us, but not new to the world). Noro Tokonatsu is a wool free yarn in worsted weight. Given how fast it will work up, I’m plotting a quick spring knit in it. Olga Buraya-Kefelian’s Francis top is just perfect. It is constructed in one piece and can be worn either way (opening in the front or the back). Be sure to see this handy guide from Olga about the unique construction of the garment.
Pattern sizing:
The finished sizes: 31.5 (33.75, 37.75, 40.25, 42.5, 45.25, 48)” bust circumference and 20.25 (21, 21.5, 22.25, 22.75, 23.5, 24)” long
2-3″ of ease is suggested so choose a finished measurement that is larger than your actual chest circumference.
Our recommended yarn:
Noro Tokonatsu – 40% Cotton / 30% Rayon / 30% Silk, 50g/136 yds, $12
For sizes above: 4 (5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins
Style It!
I love this top for a casual look, like shown above – distressed or washed denim and a natural wood or stone necklace. The look below features pieces that you can grab from our neighbors at the Shoe Hive:
– Red Engine Jeans in Heritage wash, $172
– Nora Flats by Elie Tahari, $195
– Tones Tips by Twine and Twig, $230
– Fedora by Hat Attack, $98
