I have harbored desires to put on a snuggie and do a bar crawl with friends since I saw the commercials for them last year. There is something particularly attractive about wearing a giant acrylic flammable blanket around to bars in Old Town. Don’t ask me why, I don’t know.
But then Veronica sent me this. Make sure you are sitting down and have had your coffee before seeing that one. Our first thought…what could be more dangerous in a house fire than being wrapped in a giant crochet (and thus hole filled) snuggie, unable to leap up off of the sofa and escape, only to be trapped in a melting acrylic burrito wrap? What upsets me most is that there are already five projects on Ravelry. I guess as a yarn shop owner, I should be encouraging you all to download this free pattern and make your own, since it requires 7 skeins of Red Heart Super Saver (that is the stuff at Wal-Mart the size of a small child). That is 1600-3000 yards of awesome. Only 3-4 hanks of Miss Babs Yowza! But really, please don’t make this. Please.
