Learn to make a seamed cardigan – the perfect layering piece for spring!

Four 2 hour sessions

Skills Learned:

  • Measuring Gauge
  • Reading a Chart
  • Seaming a Garment

Materials:

  • 870 (950, 1035, 1110, 1200, 1300) yards of worsted weight wool yarn for 32½ (36, 39½, 43, 46½, 50)” circumference at bust.
  • US#7 (4.5 mm) 24 or 32″ circular needle
  • US#7 (4.5 mm) 16″ circular needles
  • US#7 (4.5 mm) double pointed needles
  • US#5 (3.75 mm) 24 or 32″ circular needles
  • US#4 (3.5 mm) 24 or 32″ circular needle
  • Stitch Markers
  • Tapestry Needle
  • Copy of the Persimmon pattern from Ravelry

Homework: 

Please come to class with a finished and accurate 6 x 6 inch gauge swatch. Please contact the shop if you need any help preparing your gauge swatch.
