Top Down Raglan Pullover

Three 2-hour classes. Please note that this class skips April 16th.

  • For finished measurements at chest:  35 ½ (38¾, 43, 47, 50¾, 54)” 7 (9, 10, 11, 12, 13) hanks of Woolstok by Blue Sky Fibers (100% Fine Highland Wool; 50g /123yds)
  • US#9 (5.5mm) 16″, and either 24″ or 32″ circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge*
  • US#9 (5.5mm) double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Stitch holder (s) or waste yarn
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
  • Copy of the Cromwell sweater pattern, available in print at the shop or online here

*Gauge: 18 sts and 23 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch, using largest needle


You must purchase your yarn and complete an accurate gauge swatch before arriving to class. The swatch should be blocked. To prepare a gauge swatch: CO 26 sts and knit 4 rows. Then repeat the following two rows for four inches – Row 1: Knit. Row 2: K2, P22, K2.  After these rows have been worked for 4″, knit 4 rows and bind off. Block swatch by soaking in water and laying flat to dry. Measure across stockinette stitch section to count number of stitches over 4 inches.
