Michelle first taught herself how to knit and crochet after a college classmate approached her about crocheting sculptures for an assignment. Many hours and several seriously odd looking sculptures later, she was literally hooked. While studying at the Corcoran College of Art & Design, she often neglected papers, assignments, and eventually even her thesis (yikes!) in order to spend more time knitting and crocheting. Don’t blame her, this stuff is addictive. Since graduating, she has been living and working in the Alexandria area with her young son and totally insane dog. Ever eager to learn new knitting skills, Michelle is beyond excited to be joining our team!
