When my daughter’s preschool suggested a thinner mitten so that she could better explore the outside world, I went on a search at big box stores for something thin…with no luck. So I grabbed some sock yarn scraps and knocked out these little things!
Materials
- Sock yarns scraps (fingering or sport weight)
- US#3 (3.25 mm) double pointed needles or prefer method for working in the round
- stitch marker
Gauge
On fingering weight: 29 sts and 48 rows
On sport weight: 28 sts and 44 rows
